Camberley Indoor Bowling Club ....

Providing for the bowling needs of many, whether you are a social, competitive, league bowler or play in friendly bowls matches ..... Camberley has something for all, running an active bowling program from October through April. The 'season' includes many social events, as well as Club Tournaments and 'roll-up' times available for new bowlers.

CIBC .... League Program

This is essentially the heart of the club with over 300 teams playing throughout the week. Playing in Rinks [4 players], Triples and Pairs a friendly and competitive spirit is enjoyed by all. The league program runs from 10am Monday through to Friday evening with options to play in teams of mixed, men or lady players.

CIBC .... Coaching Program

Welcoming new members and helping them through the coaching experience has become a 'Camberley Specialty'. There's more to bowls than most people think and another successful intake this 2004/5 season has seen some 43 players now bowling and enjoying the facilities. The coaching & instructor team are always available to help on any coaching related issues and welcome enquiries from any prospective new bowlers. [contact John Guerin - 01252 811165

CIBC ....Social Program

As a member's club it's natural that a strong social element exists and this spirit extends to great camaraderie and a sense of joviality amongst most members. An active social committee runs monthly events, including 'race' 'quiz' and 'theme/Elvis' nights with the odd 'New Year's Eve' party and 'Burns Nite' thrown in for good measure.

CIBC ....Junior Program

Bowling by juniors is on the increase and Camberley both supports and encourages juniors to use and play at the club. Currently some 26 juniors play under their team name of the 'Crusaders' and are having a successful 2005 season. The groups includes both sexes and its interesting to recognise that bowls is one of the few sports where the lads & lasses can compete on equal terms - as indeed can all ages. The juniors practice on a Saturday morning and play matches at weekends.

CIBC ....Competitive Program

As in all sports and indeed one of the great attributes of 'any sporting challenge' is to see how good you can become! Bowls is no different and the enthusiastic bowler has any number of opportunities to play competitively both in individual games and team play. Membership of Camberley Indoor BC provides entitlement to compete in national and county matches as well as the opportunity to be selected for Club competitions such as Denny / Vivianne / Yetton / Top10 Club matches. It's an active season!!
