Coaching School

With a staff of over 15 coaches, bowls aa cibc coaches x 4 picinstruction is available for all levels of player, with courses for beginner and improver alike. Individual clinics are available for experienced players who which to develop their game further.

Training for Beginners

Courses of 4 x 2hr sessions are run on Saturday mornings and Friday evenings. The course follows the guidelines laid out in the EBCS syllabus. After this course individuals will be proficient enough to take part in club friendlies, ‘fun roll-ups’ and League ‘team bowls’.

Courses of 2 x 2hr sessions are run at convenient times to suit individuals. These courses include video analysis, improvement in line & length consistency and exercises in ”reading a head”.

Dress Code

The club’s dress code is relaxed for coaching practice with shoes and bowls provided. Smart casual is good with a friendly and encouraging approach adopted, whilst individuals decide whether the sport is for them. Prospective members can make full use of the catering and bar facilities.
